August 20, 2009 - HolyBears Launches a "Beary Special" New Line
HolyBears, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2009, is introducing a new line of "Beary Special" bears for the Christian retail market that will begin shipping to stores at the end of September.
"This is our most extensive release of new designs in quite some time, " said Rob LeClair, the company's President and Founder. "The last few years have been somewhat of a "bear market" for the plush industry, but over the past few months we've seen an increased demand for our products. In the current economic environment, the "under $10" gift category has become significant for many retailers. These new bears fall right into that category and are some of the best we've ever produced. We expect Christian retailers to be very pleased with their quality and sell-through."
The "Beary Special" line includes new designs in HolyBears' Family and Community Bears® series, such as "A Special Mom", "A Special Teacher", and "A Special Friend." The launch also includes redesigns of some of HolyBears most popular styles such as "I Love You", "Too Blessed to be Stressed", "Jesus Loves Me" and the "I Love Jesus" lamb. More new bears in the "Beary Special" line are scheduled to be released early next year in time for Easter.
All bears are approximately 9" and feature the signature HolyBears' embroidery on the chest, and their trademarked "halo" embroidered on the footpad. As is standard for HolyBears, each item is individually polybagged and comes with the HolyBears' eartag, and a hangtag with a Scripture verse inside that corresponds to the theme of the bear.
